**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Lead Lighting Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $120,000-$180,000.

About the Role:

The Lead Lighting Artist will be responsible for providing creative and technical direction to the lighting team, ensuring high-quality lighting in-game and cinematics. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of lighting, shading, and PBR for realtime applications, including optimization for performance and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and guidance to the lighting team.
  • Help support other leads within the franchise.
  • Collaborate with other leads to ensure pipelines and workflows are up to production standards.
  • Specify and work along with engine, graphics, and tools teams.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of lighting, shading, and PBR for realtime applications.
  • Experience shipping AAA titles on current gen consoles.
  • Experience with reference capture for Lighting.
  • Knowledge of colour grading approaches.
  • Experience leading a small team or appetite to learn this.
  • Passion for the technical side of realtime lighting.
  • Broad interest in aspects of visual art.
