Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join our team in Chelmsford. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of planned maintenance, responsive repairs, empty homes, compliance, and grounds services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in office systems and procedures, preferably in a repairs reporting, maintenance, or scheduling role. You will be responsible for coordinating resources across all trades teams, including contractors, to ensure that the right number of people with the right skills are in place to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively schedule all works, projects, and inspections, and organize materials, logistics, equipment, and waste clearance to maximize the efficient use of resources.
  • Act as an ambassador for CHP's values, taking appropriate action to ensure that customers are well informed and feel safe in their homes.
  • Undertake administrative, financial, and analytical activities to support the general operation of the Operations team where required.
Requirements
  • Evidence of attainment of good literacy and numeracy, eg, through GCSEs or equivalent.
  • High level of computer literacy, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
