Job Title: Enterprise Software Integration Specialist

Location: Chelmsford

The Armstrong Knight is seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Integration Specialist to join their IT Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing EDI interfaces between our in-house systems and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop EDI interfaces using EDIFACT, X12, and XML standards.
  • Map data with external partners and in-house systems.
  • Provide development lead for EDI development projects supporting the business throughout.
  • Assist during test phases of development supporting internal colleagues.
  • Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.
  • Work closely with employees and software vendors to ensure continuous development.
  • Consult colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems and write or modify current operating practices.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12, XML).
  • Good understanding of Microsoft SQL and MySQL databases.
  • Experience with SSRS and Altova Mapforce/Mapforce Server is an advantage.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
