Company Overview

Envision Racing, a UK-based Formula E Team, seeks a skilled Tyre Simulation Specialist to contribute to the on-track success of our race cars. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with both the Tyre and Simulation groups to drive our performance.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £60,000 per annum, plus bonus potential.

Job Description

This role involves participating in simulator sessions, track tests, and being based at the Remote Operations Room during race events. You will lead offline simulations, analyze data using tools like Matlab/Python/VBA, and develop models to improve our car's performance.

  • A highly detail-oriented and adaptable individual with experience in accurately analyzing data.
  • Excellent engineering ability with ideally 2 years of relevant experience in vehicle simulation or performance engineering at a high level of motorsport.
  • Proficiency in modern data analysis tools, preferably WINTAX and ATLAS.
  • Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A degree result in a relevant subject, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and availability to work on weekends is essential.
  • Good English written and oral communication skills.
