Senior Team Leader - Warehouse Operations

The Recruitment Co is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our client's team in Bolton. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and training of employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Conducting team-based accident and incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Managing the planning and organization of warehouse functions, including the coordination of third-party service providers and internal departments
  • Supervising material movement and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution
Requirements:
  • Good secondary education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a management role, preferably in the manufacturing environment
  • People management skills and experience in coaching and training
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and LEAN principles is desirable
