About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent communication skills. You will be working with a leading organisation in the paper and packaging industry, renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and maintain packaging machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Fill out detailed service reports, including photos of issues and parts replaced, to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Provide out-of-hours call coverage and support weekend and Bank Holiday call-outs as necessary.
  • Manage spare parts and maintain a budget to ensure efficient operation.

Requirements

  • Centrally located in the UK to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.
  • Great Britain coverage only, with estimated travel up to 45k miles per annum.
  • Experienced electromechanical and/or electronic engineer with a strong technical background.
