About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at Office Angels, where you will play a key role in driving business growth and development in the energy and utilities sector. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs), identifying new sales opportunities, and optimising our sales processes to maximise revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- TPI Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with TPIs to generate sales opportunities and drive business growth. - Sales Process Optimisation:
Ensure that our sales processes and procedures are efficient and effective, and identify areas for improvement to maximise revenue. - Diary and Cost Management:
Effectively manage your diary and meetings to maintain service levels while considering costs. - Cross-Department Communication:
Ensure effective communication with internal administration and contract processing teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience: Strong background in the energy or utilities industry, or in a relevant sales role.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and transparent communication skills.
- Negotiation & Persuasion: High level of negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to drive change and create strategies.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the business and energy sectors.
- Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail.
- Positive Attitude: A proactive, driven attitude with a desire to succeed.
- Technical Skills: Good computer skills and proficiency with relevant software.
