Job Summary
We are seeking a Part Time Cook to join our small friendly team at Priory Hospital Market Weighton.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and cook meals for up to 20 individuals using a small commercial kitchen.
- Ensure that meals are balanced, healthy, and take into account dietary requirements and allergens.
- Maintain a sanitary kitchen by adhering to Food Safety in Commercial Kitchen policies, storage and refrigeration requirements, and cleaning equipment.
- Be responsible for ordering and receiving deliveries for the kitchen, including maintaining stock levels and stock rotation.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibility.
- Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- Common sense approach to problem solving.
- Motivation and initiative.
- Some appreciation of mental health.
- NVQ or equivalent (chef/cooking).
- Food Safety Qualification level 2 or above.

About the Role
This is a Part Time Cook role, working over a 7 day period with set days that can be accommodated. You will be paid £11.50 per hour and will work 20 hours per week.
