About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an outstanding Special Educational Needs school near Cinderford. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing individualized support to pupils who require additional help.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in general teaching activities, including preparing the classroom and assisting with lessons.
  • Work one-to-one with pupils who require additional support, providing tailored guidance and encouragement.
  • Monitor behavior and provide feedback to the teacher, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Be a proactive and positive addition to the school community, promoting the welfare and well-being of all pupils.
