CNC Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Syntech Recruitment Ltd. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming and operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-quality parts for various industries.

• Proven experience running and programming 5-axis CNC machines.
• Experience with Mazak/Mazatrol machines is a strong plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with CAM software for generating CNC programs (e.g. Mastercam, PowerMill, etc.).
• Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and fixturing.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other staff.

• Experience with 5 axis machining (ideally Mazak machines).
• Knowledge of 5-axis machining techniques (3+2 positioning, simultaneous 5-axis).
• Experience with producing parts for the Aerospace/Defence/Motorsport industry.

• Competitive salary: £48-51k.
• Fixed 45 hour per week (39 hours basic plus 6 hours overtime).
