Alfred & Associates is seeking an exceptional Children's Home Manager to lead our residential care home in Leeds. As a highly skilled and motivated manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, homely, and therapeutic environment for vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to children and young people.
  • Care and Support: Ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of children and young people are met, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care and support.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and services provided, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children, including supervision and management of staff.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards England 2015, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
