  • Assess and monitor each child's progress, keeping accurate records and providing regular feedback to parents/guardians on their child's development and achievements.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians, involving them in their child's learning journey through effective communication and regular updates.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies that encourage positive behaviour and promote a respectful and inclusive classroom community.
  • Collaborate with other primary teachers and school staff to plan and implement a comprehensive and cohesive curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs and abilities of each child, providing appropriate support and challenges.
  • Organize and participate in various activities, such as field trips, celebrations, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Stay updated with current educational trends and attend professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience as an Primary Teacher (specifically as class teacher in either Year 5 or 6.)
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 Stage and framework, and its implementation.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Creativity and the ability to design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a temporary assignment through a recruitment agency.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in primary teaching practices.
  • Successful completion of background checks and any other necessary screening required by the recruitment agency and the school.

This is a temporary position through a recruitment agency, and the duration of the assignment may vary depending on the needs of the school. The successful candidate will be offered competitive compensation and the opportunity to make a positive impact on young children's early education and development.
