Job Title: Paediatric Physiotherapy Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Paediatric Physiotherapy Team Lead to join our team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of physiotherapists in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex medical illnesses. They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and will be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of physiotherapists in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex medical illnesses.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in clinical governance and audit activities to ensure high standards of care.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in physiotherapy.
  • Experience of working in a paediatric setting.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
