Job Title: Art Teacher – Permanent Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join our dynamic team at a vibrant secondary school on the Suffolk coast. As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, fostering a love of art and creativity.

Main Responsibilities:

• Teach Art across KS3 and KS4, encouraging creativity and artistic expression in all students.
• Plan and deliver engaging, inspiring lessons that challenge students of all abilities.
• Prepare students for their exams, ensuring that they reach their full potential.
• Contribute to the extra-curricular art programme, offering clubs, exhibitions, and trips to support student development.
• Work collaboratively with the department and wider school staff to ensure a positive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification in Art.
• Experience in teaching Art at secondary level is essential.
• A genuine passion for art and education, with a commitment to making art accessible and exciting for all students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are required.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students, fostering a creative and inclusive classroom environment.
