Deputy Home Manager Nursing Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Home Manager in a leading care home in the Berwick-upon-Tweed area.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position working through day shifts, offering an excellent salary of £21.59 per hour and an annual salary up to £49,397.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulations, and care plans.
  • Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies and develop an excellent reputation.
  • Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the residents' quality of life.
  • Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including production of reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home.
  • Attend training days and courses to ensure learning records are maintained and individuals are developed.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place.
  • Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
  • Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code.
  • Driven and motivated, with a commitment to quality care.
