About the Role
As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals navigate the benefits system. You will conduct assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life, using your clinical skills to produce a factual report to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining their eligibility for benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather information about an individual's condition and its impact on their daily life.
- Use your clinical expertise to produce a comprehensive report that accurately reflects the individual's needs and circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that assessments are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices to ensure that your assessments are of the highest quality.
