Financial Services Manager Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Manager to lead the preparation, examination, and analysis of financial reports for Myshon and its sister companies. The successful candidate will have strong financial accounting, systems, and process skills, with experience of preparing and presenting management accounts internally and externally.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Production of client management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow with supporting schedules.
* Leading on year-end audit of accounts.
* Drive automation of Financial Services processes.
* Lead the completion of monthly bank, tax, client account, and inter-ledger reconciliations in line with deadlines.
* Ensuring posting of monthly results in the ledger, creating strong controls and governance that eradicate errors.
* Striving for faster financial closing to maximize the time available to provide insight and value-add analysis and commentary while meeting deadlines.
* Developing appropriate policies, procedures, and identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
* Responsible for ensuring finance systems are compliant, efficient, and fit for business purpose.
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Work with Head of Finance on Board Reports, management fee calculations, landlord statements, and budgets preparation and uploads.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software packages (Microsoft Navision and Power BI would be an advantage).
* Solid knowledge of accounting standards and technically excellent.
* Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills that are flexible and adaptable to a variety of situations.
* Commercial awareness and desire to understand how the company operates, who its key stakeholders are, and how Financial Services can deliver the most value.
