The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with young people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and a genuine commitment to helping them reach their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students through the power of sport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality physical education lessons that meet the needs of our students
  • Monitor and manage student behavior and wellbeing, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Support the development of social and emotional skills through extracurricular activities and workshops
  • Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the individual needs of students
  • Arrange sporting events and activities throughout the academic year, promoting teamwork and camaraderie among students

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • PGCE qualification or equivalent teaching experience
  • Sports degree or coaching background preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students who have SEND
