Medical Support Professional

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Medical Support Professional to join our team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a key member of the Business Administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the financial administration of patient accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional stakeholder/customer service, resolving general queries and complaints promptly.
- Support the triage and resolution of queries raised by patients and consultants, ensuring timely responses.
- Ensure compliance with minimum standards when receiving information from external stakeholders.
- Resolve Data Quality issues effectively, maintaining data integrity.
- Collaborate with the Business Administration Manager to improve processes and enhance departmental efficiency.
- Contribute to general office duties such as filing, post, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a busy customer-facing business support function, ideally in healthcare.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage and interpret data, presenting it professionally.
- Strong organizational skills, meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Confidence in working with numbers and large volumes of data, with a high level of accuracy.
- Degree-educated in English and Maths, with an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
- Proficient IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, with strong keyboard skills.
- Attention to detail, persistence, resilience, and determination to achieve set goals.
- Able to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the organization.
