Job Title: Skills Development Coach - Machining

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Skills Development Coach - Machining to join our work-based Engineering learning team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Engineering Apprentices throughout their programme, providing independent advice, guidance, and support to employers and learners.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of Apprentices, preparing and supporting them through to successful completion of their End Point Assessment.
  • Provide comprehensive independent advice, guidance, and support to employers and learners regarding their training needs and requirements.
  • Participate in the learner onboarding process, ensuring a sound understanding from both employer and Apprentice of their required commitment.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 qualification in Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT.
  • Level 3 qualification in Engineering (relevant to discipline).
  • L3 Assessor Award qualification (or willing to work towards).
  • IOSH qualification.
  • Knowledge of theory and practical skills in engineering equipment, machinery, and materials.
