Scheme Overview

Rénishaw offers exciting opportunities for graduates within our Manufacturing Services Division. The Operational Graduate Development Programme aims to develop talented graduates through a structured two-year programme, providing hands-on experience and real operational responsibilities.

During this programme, you will gain an appreciation of manufacturing management through practical placement periods, rotating through various core business areas within the Manufacturing Services Division, including:

  • Production management
  • Materials management
  • Scheduling / logistics
  • Project management
  • Supply chain

Key Responsibilities

As an Operational Graduate, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning material requirements to support the assembly build of Rénishaw products
  • Ensuring material supplies are planned in line with build plans to meet customer order demand requirements and stock level targets
  • Managing a team of production staff to meet build plan and customer order requirements
  • Developing people management, decision-making, and prioritisation skills in a target-driven environment

Where You Will Be Working

We run schemes at our sites in Gloucestershire and South Wales, with possible rotations to other locations. We aim to provide graduates with a wide experience of our operational facilities.

  • A 2-1, or higher, degree
  • A positive, 'can do' and flexible attitude
  • Practical and logical mind-set
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
