We are seeking a skilled Computer Science and ICT Teacher to join our team at a fantastic inclusive mixed secondary school in Ilford East London. The school offers a unique opportunity to teach Computer Science and ICT to students from KS3 to KS5, and ICT to students from KS3 to KS4.

The school aspires to help students develop problem-solving skills, design and program systems, and understand the power and limitations of human and machine intelligence. Our curriculum has been designed to visit seven key domains throughout their journey: Algorithms, Programming constructs, Problem solving, Networks, hardware, Data representation, and Digital literacy.

Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
  • Available to work 5 days a week.
  • Committed to high-quality planning and creative teaching and learning with a clear vision for ongoing assessment and feedback to facilitate continuous progress.
  • Able to work collaboratively to help deliver an outstanding curriculum to our students.
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or Teaching qualification.

We are looking for a Computer Science and ICT Teacher who can engage and support pupils through this stage of education and would like the challenge of a unique role such as this. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
