Job Title: Paraplanner

Join Search, a leading recruitment agency, and take on a challenging role as a Paraplanner. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the provision of financial plans and advice to prospective and existing private clients.

Job Purpose:

To provide high-quality financial planning support to our clients, working closely with our Private Client Financial Planners to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft financial planning reports to meet and exceed activity targets.
  • Develop and maintain technical and market awareness knowledge to provide effective advice.
  • Ensure CPD requirements are met and logged as appropriate.
  • Negotiate and agree contract placements with clients.
  • Compile and complete new applications and schemes in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Record and maintain information on Intelligent Office for efficient workflow management.
  • Filing and storing records and files in accordance with internal standards.
  • Apply internal and regulatory standards as specified in procedural manuals and handbooks.
  • Develop and maintain report writing and communication skills for effective client communication.
  • Undertake project-based work as required.
Person Specification:

We are looking for an experienced individual with a Diploma qualification in a financial planning, research, or technical capacity. The ideal candidate will possess good listening and communication skills, technical competence, and adaptability to changing demands and priorities.

IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management, are essential. The ability to prioritize workload, work to deadlines, and demonstrate commitment to own development are also required.
