We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Service as a Multi-Disciplinary Pathway Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people to inform formulation, diagnosis, and recommendations for treatment.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address complex mental health issues, including comorbid difficulties and special needs.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Participate in multi-agency and multi-disciplinary work to ensure seamless care and support for children and young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a graduate training program in a relevant field, such as nursing, social work, or occupational therapy.
  • Substantial experience working with children and young people with complex mental health needs, including comorbid difficulties and special needs.
  • High-level knowledge of evidence-based interventions and therapies, including CYP-IAPT training.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, young people, and their families, as well as with other professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to integrate complex clinical information into a coherent formulation.
