About the Role

  • Responsible for planned maintenance, breakdowns, and line change-overs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Engineering department's vision and strategic plan.
  • Maintain production Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to meet site Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvements within the engineering environment.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to support capital engineering projects.
  • Work as a proactive team player to build credibility within the peer group.

Requirements

  • Essential experience in a FMCG environment.
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems preferred.
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Predictive Maintenance (PPM), and Continuous Improvement desirable.

Working Arrangements

A continental shift pattern will be required.

Salary: circa £50,000.
