Associate Director of Planning

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Planning to join our team at GreenJobs Ltd in Glasgow / Irvine. As a key member of our Planning and Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for writing and coordinating planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments for various developments, including renewable energy, industrial, and agricultural projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments for a range of developments
  • Engage with Local Authorities and Clients to manage projects through the planning process
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure successful applications
  • Generate and maintain your own portfolio of projects and clients
  • Support colleagues with their workloads

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience within a Planning or Environmental Consultancy
  • Relevant Degree/Masters qualification
  • Ability to produce high-quality, accurate reports
  • Experience of Environmental Impact Assessment process
  • Experience of fee proposal/quotation preparation
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • High level written language skills
  • Driving Licence
  • Access to own vehicle
