A Day in the Life

As a Data Analyst and BI Developer at Husky Technologies TM, you will be responsible for leading business intelligence software development, deployment, and maintenance. Your tasks will include report curation, template definition, and analytical data modeling, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document reporting requirements.

You will translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources. You will identify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely fashion, while looking for continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Develop solutions that create value and resolve business problems.
  • Provide technical guidance to designers and other stakeholders.
  • Work effectively with members of Digital Solutions Team.
  • Install, configure, deploy, and tune analytics tools and servers.
  • Troubleshoot analytics tool problems and tune for performance.
About the Role

We are looking for highly skilled professionals with a university degree or community college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Business Intelligence or Report development experience, including understanding of ERP and Operational systems databases, knowledge of database programming, and experience in data visualization and data storytelling.

The successful candidate will also have experience designing, debugging, and deploying software in VSTS (Azure Dev/Ops) development environment, as well as experience with Microsoft BI stack - Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services.
