We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team at Field House in Bristol. The successful candidate will have strong nursing and managerial experience, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assessing the care needs of our residents
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to maintain compliance with regulations and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Oversee resident care to ensure it meets the highest standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals visiting Field House to ensure best practice is followed
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care
  • Supervise and mentor staff members, providing guidance and support through regular supervisions and appraisals
  • Take charge of the nursing home in the absence of the Nurse Manager
  • Participate in interviewing staff members as required
  • Support the Management Team in all discussions and decisions
  • Plan and monitor nursing and care duty rotas

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the NMC
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • A sound understanding of the processes and regulations surrounding the running of a nursing home
  • Ability to work as part of an on-call rota

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive a welcome bonus of £250, profit share bonus scheme, excellent training and development opportunities, staff rewards scheme, retail discounts, employee assistance program, cycle to work scheme, and computerized care planning and medication management systems.
