About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Auto Services business, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within site guidelines to ensure the efficient workflow of job cards, meeting volume targets and identifying fast-track repairs.
  • Collaborate with the policyholder and Direct Line Group engineering functions to resolve borderline repairable or beyond economical repair cases.
  • Provide service level agreements, ensuring customers are informed about repairs and non-related damage, and agree on amended repair hours with workshop leadership teams and technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, company health and safety procedures, and standard methodology and lean activities as instructed by business strategy.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of vehicle repair methods, Thatcham repair methods, Audatex, and ATA qualification.
  • Ability to achieve company and personal targets, ensuring tasks are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety and following Audatex estimates, observing DLGAS ways of working and BS10125 procedures.
