About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our Responsive team at Sanctuary Property Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance work on our properties across the South East region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
  • Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
  • Required to be part of our Out of Hours emergency cover on a rota. This is normally 1 in every 10 weeks (enhancement paid)
Requirements
  • To ensure full compliance with CDM 2015 legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (wet trades, carpentry, joinery, plumbing), or currently undertaking the qualification. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines – Wet Trade, Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, UPVC door and window fitting would be an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
