Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled professionals with hands-on experience in soldering, building test jigs, and performing final testing to join our client's dynamic and forward-thinking team. As a Test and Production Technician, you will provide essential technical support to production and engineering teams, repair and maintain electronic radar systems, and assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to production and engineering teams
• Repair and maintain electronic radar systems
• Assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies
• Test and configure radar systems in collaboration with the Test Technician
• Maintain documentation and adhere to change control processes
• Design and build prototype test jigs and assemblies
• Provide drone operator support for trials (training provided)
• Support local field trials and demonstrations, with occasional national and rare international travel
• Offer off-site support at customer and supplier locations when necessary

Requirements:

• Significant experience working with advanced electrical and electronic devices
• Strong technical competence with knowledge of standard electrical lab practices and procedures
• Hands-on skills in building, repairing, and modifying electronic and/or electromechanical equipment
• RF experience would be ideal but not essential
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• HNC or higher qualification in electronics or electrical engineering
