We are passionate about animal health and welfare, and we are committed to continuous learning and development.

Norwich is a lovely city to live and work in with what we think is the right mixture of city and countryside. We have an amazing array of shops for those that enjoy their retail therapy, as well as a wonderful cathedral and some beautiful architecture.

Our three Vets for Pets practices are individually owned and run, giving us the freedom to make decisions that benefit our patients and staff.

In Norwich, we have superb clinical and support staff to help you settle in quickly. Our team at Norwich Hall Road has 7 vets, including 5 experienced vets and 2 new graduates. We also have 6 RVNs, 1 student nurse, and multiple support staff.

The Longwater branch has 3 vets, consisting of 2 experienced vets and 1 new graduate, alongside 6 RVNs, 1 student nurse, and multiple support staff. Meanwhile, the Sprowston practice boasts 9 experienced vets, 1 new graduate vet, 12 RVNs, 4 SVNs, and a range of state-of-the-art equipment.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
  • A full registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
  • Strong communication skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners

We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience and role, starting at around £25,000-£40,000 per annum.

You'll enjoy flexibility in working hours, considering full and part-time applicants, as well as access to private health insurance upon successful completion of probationary period. A contributory pension scheme and generous CPD allowance are also available.

Additionally, you'll get 5.6 weeks initial holiday, rising to 6.6 weeks after 2 years' service, your birthday off (or a day within 2 weeks of your birthday), and in-house career development opportunities.
