**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing 24-hour care and support to individuals, enabling them to live independently and achieve their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Support individuals to participate in social activities, outings, and holidays, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support.

**Requirements**

  • NVQ2 in care (or willingness to attain)
  • Ability to demonstrate the core values of the Charity
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to provide personal care
  • Able to work flexible hours and sleep-ins
