Fundraising Support Specialist



This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a small, close-knit team that plays a pivotal role within fundraising and relationship building. You will be the first point of contact for supporters engaging via phone, email and through various fundraising platforms.



Fundraising Support Specialist Responsibilities




  • Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact over the phone, by email or in person, by handling queries promptly and effectively.
  • Process fundraising income daily as agreed with the Fundraising Manager.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records through our database.
  • Tailor thank you letters to donors once donations have been received.
  • Support the wider fundraising team particularly around events, processing and acknowledging sponsorship money.
  • Collaborate with other departments.

Fundraising Support Specialist Essentials




  • You will be a strong administrator with high attention to detail.
  • A proficient user of MS Office databases.
  • You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer care and excited to encourage supporters achieve their personal fundraising goals.
  • You will thrive within a busy team in a varied role.
  • You will be confident working in a sensitive environment, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience within the charity sector is desirable.
