Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Rock Extraction Specialist to join our operational team at Westleigh Quarry in Tiverton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely extracting rocks from the quarry using fixed and mobile plants. Your primary objective will be to process materials efficiently, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate mobile and static plants (Loading Shovel, Rigid Dump Truck, etc.) to extract rocks from the quarry.
• Work collaboratively with our site manager to optimize extraction processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal waste.
• Maintain accurate records of extracted materials, processing times, and any issues encountered during the extraction process.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in mineral processing and extractives.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• Previous experience within a similar industry, preferably with operation of mobile and static plants.
• Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
