Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Solutions Engineering Manager to lead our technical solutions program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing sophisticated solutions and engineering experience, with a strong ability to communicate and present information to technical, finance, and executive-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Sales and Solutions Engineering activities, particularly with hyperscale cloud and AI customers
  • Support the Sales Team in all aspects of project development, including presales, contract negotiation, and client technical conversations
  • Act as the technical single point of contact for clients, driving and managing client requirements and ensuring alignment with company business directions
  • Participate in the RFP process with customers and collaborate with other departments to create business case analysis
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting to the business and maintain a current understanding of the build schedule of all developments across EMEA
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to Solutions Engineering by building and growing the role to meet the needs of VDC and its customers
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, design architectural overviews, and assist with customer site visits
  • Drive opportunities by supporting Sales teams in designing, positioning, and proving technology solutions
  • Articulate and conduct in-depth product feature benefit discussions as they relate to Vantage data center offerings
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements
  • Engage in detailed network, power, cooling, and space assessment of customer's current and proposed IT environments
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent work experience
  • Significant experience in Data Center Infrastructure solution sales, marketing, and management
