About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at the New QE11 Hospital in Welwyn Garden City. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Emptying rubbish bins and removing cardboard
  • Cleaning sanitary ware in toilets and sinks
  • Cleaning kitchen work surfaces
  • Cleaning surfaces in offices, including desks and shelves
  • Washing all flooring
  • Cleaning glass in doors and touchplates

Weekly Operations:

  • Vacuuming carpets throughout the hospital
  • Cleaning work surfaces
  • Cleaning medical equipment feet
  • High and low dusting
  • Cleaning patient beds (excluding mattresses)
  • Cleaning bins
