Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team in a temporary capacity.
Key Responsibilities:- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), tailored to meet their individual learning needs.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess student progress, create and implement tailored learning plans, and maintain accurate records of student development.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching students with SEN, with a comprehensive understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Postgraduate Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs.
- Experience with Diverse Disabilities: Experience working with a diverse range of disabilities.
- Work Environment: Work in a school setting with students with varying levels of SEN, in a collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development.
- Hours and Meetings: Full-time hours with occasional after-school meetings or events.
