Job Description

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Commis Chef to join our team at Iberica Restaurants. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Spanish cuisine to our guests.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced commis chef to take on a senior position within our kitchen team. You will be responsible for supporting the head chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, as well as mentoring junior staff members.

As a Sr Commis Chef, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of chefs and learn from their expertise. You will also be involved in creating new dishes and contributing to the development of our menus.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the head chef in menu planning and food preparation.
  • Mentor junior staff members and contribute to their professional development.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes to the required standard.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a commis chef or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of Spanish cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
