Medical Sales Specialist

Job Summary
The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales and building relationships with healthcare clinicians. This position requires a strong understanding of the medical industry and the ability to promote and sell surgical loupes and headlight systems with superior magnification and resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships in assigned territory to become a trusted advisor and support company branding efforts.
- Utilize CRM software to properly manage sales opportunities within the territory.
- Stay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity to support sales.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare clinicians.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territory.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Customer Care, Technical Support, and Manufacturing, to ensure prompt and quality customer service is provided.
- Contribute to product innovation by obtaining insight from healthcare clinicians and working with others to develop new ideas.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings to provide valuable insights to the management team.
- Attend industry conferences and events to expand the company's network and promote products.
- Travel domestically (ground/air) up to 50%.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required, preferably in the medical/dentistry industry.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to travel around 50% via ground or air required.
- Experience using CRM software and other sales tools required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness required.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
