Job Summary

The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales and building relationships with healthcare clinicians. This position requires a strong understanding of the medical industry and the ability to promote and sell surgical loupes and headlight systems with superior magnification and resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in assigned territory to become a trusted advisor and support company branding efforts.
  • Utilize CRM software to properly manage sales opportunities within the territory.
  • Stay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity to support sales.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare clinicians.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Customer Care, Technical Support, and Manufacturing, to ensure prompt and quality customer service is provided.
  • Contribute to product innovation by obtaining insight from healthcare clinicians and working with others to develop new ideas.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings to provide valuable insights to the management team.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to expand the company's network and promote products.
  • Travel domestically (ground/air) up to 50%.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required, preferably in the medical/dentistry industry.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to travel around 50% via ground or air required.
  • Experience using CRM software and other sales tools required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness required.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
