Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure their specific needs are met
  • Assist with classroom management and organization to create a positive learning environment
  • Prepare classroom materials and help set up activities
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
  • A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to supporting learning
