  • Provide additional support to students in class, ensuring they have access to the curriculum.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to work closely with students, teachers, and other staff members to provide high-quality support and achieve outstanding results.

As a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with special education needs in lessons and outside of class time.
  • Helping to create and implement individual education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs.
  • Liaising with parents and carers to keep them informed about students' progress and involve them in their child's education.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a qualified and experienced candidate who possesses excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students who have special education needs, including autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.
