Job Opportunity at Rotosound
We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team at Rotosound, a leading manufacturer of musical instrument components. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our bespoke string winding machines and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
- General workshop experience and tool room knowledge
- Operating of lathes, milling machines, and grinders for fabrication of machine parts
- Preventative breakdown work and troubleshooting
- Experience of electronics with drive systems and automation an advantage
Requirements:
- HNC/D or similar qualification in mechanical and production engineering (desired but not essential)
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Permanent, full-time position with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.45pm
- 15-minute morning and afternoon tea breaks and 45-minute lunch
- 28 days' holiday per annum inclusive of public and bank holidays
About Rotosound:
Rotosound is a well-established company located in the market town of Sevenoaks in Kent. Our factory is a 10-minute walk from Sevenoaks train station and a 10-minute drive from the M25 and M26. On-site parking is available.
