PLC / Controls Engineer Role



Job Summary

As a skilled PLC / Controls Engineer at Black Fox Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in leading the full software development lifecycle. This involves providing technical direction and mentoring to identify and implement innovative solutions that meet our design goals.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, program, test, and improve software solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Develop PLC software control systems to meet customer requirements, leveraging expertise in software programming with Danfoss, Codesys, and Siemens.
  • Provide technical direction and mentoring to development teams, helping to identify and implement technical solutions that meet our design goals.
  • Collaborate on R&D projects to expand our current product range and bring new products to market.
  • Ensure product quality by designing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and system capabilities.
  • Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests, adhering to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years postgraduate work experience in a similar design software role. A strong background in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant working engineering experience is also required. Proficiency in software programming, detailed knowledge of current regulations and electrical design standards, and experience of drafting to electrical standards are essential skills for this position.
