Job Description

Job Title: Cardiology Structural Heart Fellow

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity for a senior trainee to gain extensive experience in structural heart disease training and research. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing medical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in structural heart disease training and research programs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical trials and research studies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Support the Lead Cardiology Research Sister in the management of clinical trials and research studies
  • Participate in on-call duties and provide support to the acute cardiology service

Requirements:

  • Basic medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualification or appropriate specialist qualification
  • Understanding of clinical risk management
  • Previous experience of clinical research
  • Organisation and planning skills
  • Academic and research experience
