About the Role:

Frasers Group is looking for a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing commercial support across our Capital Expenditure programme.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of feasibility estimates and provide commercial assistance at initial concept design to assist development appraisals across UK & EU new store and refit programmes.
  • Undertake global reporting of monthly cost reports and monthly cashflows along with maintaining and refining the commercial/contractual suite of documentation.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and Cost Management team to manage the cost model as requirements change.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Degree in Quantity Surveying, and 3-5 years of experience in Cost Management.
  • An in-depth experience of projects exceeding £1m.
  • Sound knowledge of legal and contractual frameworks.
  • Understanding of Retail Construction coupled with good understanding of Building Regulations and Compliance.
  • A high level of financial appraisal skill and keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of shop-fit standards, details, and construction.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and troubleshoot during a project.
  • Chartered membership of a construction-related professional body - RICS - is preferred.
