This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to play a key role in supporting our skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team in a unique and rewarding environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the administration function, supporting the Head of Care, hospice doctors, and the care team with all aspects of administrative and secretarial duties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing incoming calls from families and professionals, and assisting with the administration of the referral process for children.
  • Maintaining the care database, producing reports, and ensuring accurate records of children using our service.
  • Supervising paid and voluntary administrative support as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment, with a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as experience using databases.
  • A thorough understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.
