Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing specialist. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Electrical fault finding and repairs
  • CNC and PLC fault finding and repairs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor systems such as Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability-Centred Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and FMEA programs
  • Support TPM plan
  • Analyze and investigate equipment failures using Failure Mode Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys)
  • Report conclusions to Maintenance Supervisor and make recommendations for improved programs and practices
  • Participate in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies
  • Assist with facility repairs and machine relocation

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering qualification (electrical)
  • Experience in a face-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to root cause analysis/problem solving processes
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
