Audit & Accounts Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join our team in Cleckheaton. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, overseeing audits from planning to completion, and providing insightful recommendations to improve client financial systems and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing audits from planning to completion
  • Lead audit meetings, advising clients on statutory financial requirements and discussing audit findings
  • Provide insightful recommendations to improve client financial systems and controls
  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations and quarterly management accounts
  • Review non-audit engagements, such as audit exemption accounts
  • Support the partners in the operational management and growth of the firm
  • Train and develop junior staff, managing workflow, and providing ongoing support
About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexible/hybrid working options. The successful candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and key disclosure requirements, excellent leadership skills, and expertise in a range of accountancy software, including Sage 50 and Xero.
