Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Trials Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of the pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in the management of clinical trials.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective communication within the pharmacy department and with external partners. You will assist the Pharmacy Clinical Trials Manager in the setup and coordination of clinical trials, including initial trial setup, invoicing sponsors, and managing trial-related stock.

Your duties will include dispensing medicines accurately, monitoring storage conditions, and maintaining accurate records. You will also participate in the appraisal process and undertake mandatory training. Additionally, you will assist with preparation for inspections by regulatory bodies and contribute to the efficient stock control of clinical trial products.
